2ND CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

Our choices here are not good: Teahen, a man whose resume is inflated, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, a woman in sheep’s clothing, and Lee Harder, a candidate who has indulged in negative campaigning.

At first I thought I could not stomach voting for any of the above. Then I decided Mariannette Miller-Meeks is the foulest of impostors, a scientifically oriented, progressive type who does not adhere to traditional Republican tenets, no matter how skillfully she talks to mislead us. It would be a disaster to have her represent us and our party in Washington, so I decided to vote against her.

There are too many questions about Teahen’s biography to vote for him, he seems to have misrepresented himself (although in a more heavy handed way than has Miller-Meeks) and besides, like Miller-Meeks, his convictions are suspect: some of them appear to be very newly acquired.

So by process of elimination, I am going to vote for Lee Harder. He may have some personality problems but so do the other two– in fact in my opinion they have CHARACTER problems. At least Harder speaks his mind, and we know that he has convictions and what his convictions are. Voting for Lee Harder is a vote against Miller-Meeks, but more important, voting for Lee Harder may serve to send a message that the platform of The Republican Party MUST be upheld.

Good for you! I admire your decision making process.
We can only hope that your message with your vote comes thru loud and clear.

Good decision. It’s too bad Harder stooped to that type of campaigning. He sould have just stuck to his conservative message. Although, it was probably pretty tempting to attack the other two since there was so much to attack.

It will definitely be Operation Extinction for Nov. if Miller-Meeks wins.

Never too early to start, this woman would be disastrous for Iowa in Washington, I can’t believe how many people she has fooled with her nonsense… But then, she is a VERY smart lady, I give her that much. So smart she may well bring about her own downfall.

Miller-Meeks???? You have got to be kidding. In the post-election analysis it seems amazing to me that she is so dense she does not even realize she won — not on her own merits but because the regional dems made an all out push to have people switch party affiliations in the primary and vote for her becuase she cannot beat Loebseck in November but they knew Teahen could. What a sad state of affairs. Not only did we not elect the best candidate we let the Democrats dictate which Republican to elect so they would have an easy election.

OOPS! And I was trying so hard to say something positive about her…

Maybe I meant smart in the sense of her accomplishments?

…..which by the way do not necessarily impress me more (and probably impress me less) than if she had stayed home 24/7 with her children and family and benefited from the wisdom of that endeavor.
