Count down to the final debate- and more

The debate gets closer.  I am still wondering.  Wondering about what kind of questions will be asked. And while we are at it, why can’t there be a normal, every day type of American to ask the questions? Each debate seems sterile and rigged. I keep hearing the best questions being submitted by Americans and read on FOX News. Questions from actual tax payers and those who care about real every day issues.

After all this time and following these candidates on a daily basis I really don’t think I truly know them and what they stand for. It depends on which group they are talking to, or so it seems. So much of what we see is staged and controlled by “the campaign”. There are the focus groups and the selection of the right kind of clothing to wear. All the droves of media camped out. Tonight I doubt there are enough bathroom facilities for them all. Probably a long line to the toilet. Hopefully that is where Matthews and Olberman will stay for the night. Now that I think of it, I think they were demoted. (Thankful am I!)

A commenter  on Iowa Defense wrote that they were feeling “sick and tired” of all of this politics game. To that I say AMEN!

If I sound cranky I am. The last debate and not a lot of hope that I will be any more informed when it is over. Then when the spin begins. Tomorrow I will wake up and MSNBC will say that Obama won and FOX may say McCain won, oh and I can’t forget the 12 analysts who will probably all still be talking over each other to enlighten us with their views. Jeffrey Tooooobin will continue to be tooooooo much! Am sure as I am sitting here typing away that the liberal media is foaming at the mouth to put the nails in the McCain campaign coffin.

Ok, back on track with the actual debate. Maybe by next election year some bright person will host a debate moderated by a REAL person who will ask questions sent in by REAL people…. and as long as I am hoping, maybe a REAL news source will be available to retell us what we already heard.

Or maybe voters will be so intelligent that they will figure things out all on their own. Some of us are not as stupid and gulliable as the candidates and media believe us to be.

Let the debate begin…

Where do they get those focus groups? I think they are annoying to say the least. Glad it was the last debate. i will need to recover before the next election.

Must get some sleep so I can have the courage to watch Joe and Mika and company on Morning Joe. If they don’t enlighten me, then surely their expert guests will.
