Taco,

Paul McKinley is my State Senator and he is now the Senate Minority Leader. He is a very strong conservative. He is a very humble and god fearing man that knows where our state and our country's strengths lie. He wants to enable Iowans and Americans to succeed without the overly intrusive policies that the left along with some Republicans seem to want to push on us. I hope that this helps. If you would like to know more about him you can check out his Project Vote Smart Page for his voting record.

We need to make this heard and get support for it to pass.
Grassroots needs to come alive for this bill to get out of committee.

Committee members are listed here.
I'm going to call each and every one in support of this.

FYI http://www.fontcraft.com/rod/?p=849

"As things stand right now it looks like Oklahoma, Washington, Hawaii, Missouri, Arizona, New Hampshire, Georgia, California, Michigan and Montana will all definitely consider sovereignty bills this year. They may be joined by Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine and Pennsylvania where legislators have pledged to introduce similar bills."

Taco, one of our members lives in McKinley's district and he could tell you more about him. From what I know about him he has proven to be a strong conservative. Also, there are many other states doing this. Many might not know about this because the information has been hidden by the media (surprise, surprise) but there is a wave of states seeing the possible take over of this administration and want to reaffirm their sovereignty.
