Ann Coulter Crashes on Her Own Highway

Steve Deace was extremely courteous in his interview with Ann Coulter which aired on WHO Radio yesterday afternoon. Coulter became unglued and revealed herself as an irrational and reactive individual.

Almost every time Ann Coulter is in the spotlight, she does the conservative cause a lot of harm. Unfortunately those who don’t know better believe she embodies the base of the Republican party and represents the caliber of people who belong to it. This is very bad PR. If we are to move forward as a successful party we don’t want anybody thinking we are as unhinged and mean spirited as she is. She has not been designated, except maybe by herself, as a spokeswoman for anything— she is merely an entertainer. Conservatives and Republicans would do well to disassociate themselves from her and expose her for what she is.

Just let Ann talk as Deace did and she will shoot herself in the foot. In this interview, it was hard to decide which was her worst  enemy–FACTS or the woman herself.

Kudos to Steve Deace.

Ah yes, this was a good one. She self-destructed. She can argue all she wants but her and others propped up Romney for something he wasn’t………a conservative. Had he run like Giuliani did, we wouldn’t be having this discussion right now. This interview shows the problem with the Republican party right now; selling out all in the name of politics, which is why we are losing.

I have yet to listen to it but rather enjoy seeing people on our side finally taking her to task.

Not a fan of her at all.

I listened in amazement to that interview. Deace calm and respectful with his questions and comments and Mizzzzzz. Coulter just flipping out.

Her book and Pelosi’s book- may they soon show up at spring garage sales, flea markets, and while I am at it- at a landfill.

I wish I could have seen Coulter Squirm! I bet she was flipping that long, blond hair til it about flipped off her head.

Deace was very nice to Coulter. I find it quite the deal that Ann flipped out when Deace was so nice to her in his questioning. Wonder what she would have done if he had been pushy and harsh????

Coulter joins my sad but long list of “Conservatives” that I do not respect and consider a huge determent to the Republican Party.

Coulter can take a highway that has a bridge to no where. Her threats to hang up, go have dinner with Mommy, etc. are an insight to the real Ann.

Ol Steve is going to have do to alot more work, it seems.

Steve thinks Mitt Romney is lucifer and he is WRONG about that. Now, Mitt wins the straw poll at CPAC. Thanks for helping to put Barry O and Biden in the White House, Steve!

Romney wins CPAC poll again Posted: Sunday, March 01, 2009 9:48 AM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC’s Domenico Montanaro and Abby Livingston
For the third straight year, Mitt Romney won the CPAC presidential preference straw poll with 20% of the vote. Bobby Jindal finished with 14%, just ahead of Ron Paul and Sarah Palin, who got 13% each.

CPAC over the years has drawn a younger crowd of student activists. (57% of the respondents to the Fabrizio-McLaughlin poll were between 18 and 25.)

Newt Gingrich finished with 10%, Mike Huckabee 7%, Mark Sanford 4%, Rudy Giuliani 3%, Tim Pawlenty 2%, Charlie Crist 1%, and 9% said they were undecided.

Just 55% said they were satisfied with the potential GOP 2012 field; 44% said they wished the Republicans had a better field.

To show just how conservative this crowd was, 95% said they disapproved of the job President Obama was doing — 80%, in fact, said they “strongly disapproved.”

Of the job Republicans are doing in Congress, 70% said they approve.

The results were announced just before Rush Limbaugh delivered the closing speech to the conference. When the results were announced, a very small number stood up when it was announced Romney had won. They clapped and cheered, but it was a tepid reception.

“When the results were announced, a very small number stood up when it was announced Romney had won. They clapped and cheered, but it was a tepid reception.” Well, that says it all, doesn’t it.

Yeah, so Romney won (again) the CPAC straw poll where those that can afford the trip and the jet ride (unless it was paid for by someone else, hmmm…….) are the ones who can vote. Plus, all the Washington insiders and party hacks are there to vote also. Too bad he came in third in the CNN poll just released where they polled the average voter.

Romney had absolutely everything going for him in his last presidentail run. He had the money, the endorsements, the conservative media were pushing for him, and he had his buddies from the Club for Growth knocking down his opponents. But still, with all that going for him he still lost. An Iowa talk radio host and a baptist preacher from Arkansas were no match for his power, but he still lost because it was the voters we could not win over. The reason Romney lost is because of Romney.

  6. PalmOfDeborah says:

Ah, blame Steve Deace for Romney’s loss? Grow up and get over it.

  7. Interested Iowan says:

I certainly agree that Romney lost because of Romney. And may he lose any other attempt at being President of the USA.
