Iowa Defense Alliance readers~
I share yet another article, this one by Lawrence Kudlow. It is important that Americans know the real story about the “AIG fiasco” and not the one the White House and Democratic leaders are spinning for us. Kudlow points out that the Obama administration knew about the AIG bonus payments and that Obama now is doing “the best play-acting ever.” With reported news that Obama’s poll numbers are falling and with his upcoming appearance on the Jay Leno show we need to know that the spin will continue in full force. Obama only knows how to spend money. I do not believe he knows how to guide us out of this crisis. We need less government and what we are getting is more, more, more.
There are voices who are attempting to set the record straight. One of them is Kudlow.
I share a portion of Kudlow’s article. Read on~
This whole AIG fiasco — where the entire political class is suddenly screaming over bonuses paid to derivative traders in AIG’s financial-products division — is just a complete farce. What it really shows is how the government has completely bungled the AIG takeover. Blame the Bush administration and the Obama administration. It also shows, once again, why the government shouldn’t run anything, because it cannot run anything.
We don’t need more TARP. We don’t need to take over more big banks. And we don’t need to have the government run things it simply isn’t capable of running.

Obama will be the first sitting President to appear on the talk show circuit and most likely the last.
I agree, however, I could see Huckabee doing the same thing but not for the same reason. Obama is doing it to save his butt.
Obama and every Democrat who voted for that first bailout need to be the ones grilled, diced, sliced, and then held accountable for their actions. I am not buying in to all this hype blaming those receiving bonus money. And here we go, Congress to the rescue with more bills quickly being put together to solve this problem.
The death threats to the AIG bonus recipients are very disturbing. This is displaced anger and needs to stop.
Anger needs vented to Dodd, Frank and all those who hustled us in the first place. Get em out of D.C. and where they can’t harm us again!
I agree with you George 100% !
