Mainstream media: “propaganda and fiction”

Following the bias in the media has become an interest to me. Each day finds more to cause my uneasiness and fear for what various media outlets are doing to take down America. I found an article from The Bulletin by Herb Denenberg which not only points out what the media is doing with their bias and slanted reporting but also what President Obama is doing with “change that can destroy America.” I share portions of the article here but urge readers to read the entire piece.

… don’t underestimate the damages these papers are doing. The mainstream media was largely responsible for electing Mr. Obama. It has been responsible for covering up his radical policies, radical appointments and endless blunders. If not reversed somehow, the course set by Mr. Obama has the potential to destroy America and the free world. That means America faces three enemies that will destroy us if they get their way: the terrorists, the Obama administration and the mainstream media.

Add to what Mr. Denenberg has so clearly communicated is information in Liberty AND Tyranny by Mark R. Levin. I did not have to read far into the book to learn how the media is working in partnership with Modern Liberals, which Levin terms ‘Statists.’

Here is what Mr. Levin has to say about the subject of the media and Statists:

The Statist is also assisted by the media, for the media are the parasites of the Statist- not the government per se but the Statist. They gather information produced by the Statist and regurgitate it to the masses. The relationship between the Statist and media is symbiotic. The Statist protects the media and enhances the media’s clout by censoring the speech of others, usually at the insistence of the media.

While Mr. Denenberg points out biased media such as The New York Times (“the leader in biased, dishonest and fraudulent journalism…”) and The Philadelphia Inquirer his article really made me think of the newspaper that I have the most exposure to- the Des Moines Register.

Reading the Register after the public hearing where hundreds were forced out of the House Chamber you would have thought that the jeering, booing, and throwing of objects by a rowdy crowd was indeed a horrible hour of wild extremists in action. This was just not the case.

So the next time you read a newspaper please be your own thinker as to the spin and/or bias in the reporting. And remember what Mr. Denenberg says:

If you rely on the mainstream media you’re getting something that is closer to propaganda and fiction than to the news….
