I don't know anything about any of them. Vander Plaats came across as a bit of a stiff with hair like John Edwards. Vander Plaats and Rants should both be able to defeat Culver. But in order to get that far they both have a few hurdles to overcome before they can win the GOP nomination. In my opinion of the three outlined here Fong has the most work to do to win the nomination. He is a virtual unknown and he has made some contributions that are going to upset quite a few in the base of the party. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that the GOP has no answer to Culver.
