Let Freedom Ring for accountability from legislators

This morning on FOX News I heard Colin Hanna of “Let Freedom Ring” tell about the push to get Legislators to pledge to actually read the Healthcare Reform package.

I have done some checking into Let Freedom Ring and have learned that it is “a non-profit, grassroots organization supporting a Conservative agenda”.

When you check out the website you will see the Legislators who have signed the pledge so far. Hanna stated on FOX News that the Leadership in Washington, D.C. “does not want the American people to see this bill.” I take it we can’t count on Pelosi, Reid, Frank and Company to sign the pledge but I will be watching to see how accountable all Legislators will be.

I am certain that this is true. We aren’t to know how much the passage of this bill will cost us, that it will fund abortion, and who knows what else if we can’t read it.

Hold your Senators and Members of Congress accountable for reading any healthcare reform legislation up for vote by having them sign our pledge.

So that all Legislators have ample time to review the pledge before encountering any publicity, we will not release the names of signers until Monday, July 20th.

By close of business on Monday, July 20th, we will release the names of those who have signed, those who have declined to sign and those who have failed to respond. We will then begin targeted publicity campaigns thanking those who have signed and taking to task those who have not.
