What will Grassley do with health care reform compromise?

I have been wondering what Charles Grassley is doing in regards to his efforts with health care reform. In an opinion piece called “The Grassley Test” I learned that he is the “GOP point man for ObamaCare.”
I wish I could find comfort in reading the article. I don’t.
Obama is out pushing his bill everywhere and to all the media that are only too happy to put him in front of a camera. And, we must get this passed NOW! All of this sounds so familiar from the shoving of the first stimulus package on Americans.
So, I am thinking what Grassley did with that vote….
There are numerous comments left after The Grassley Test article and I will share one of them.
Mr. Grassley is yet another moderate that may indeed sell out on his party. Kim, I admire your optimism that he will make the right decisions. But there really isn’t a bi-partisan solution here that the Dems would accept – so they have to rely on sell-outs…
The comment says a lot and confirms why I am so uneasy about what Grassley is doing in his effort for “bipartisan support.” I hope that Grassley understands that Iowans are once again watching and paying attention to his decisions.
It is a lot to take on David Axelrod, Chris Dodd, Harry Reid, and Obama.
The article I share concludes with:
“Mr. Grassley goes his own way, he may yet irk Republicans. But so far he’s serving as a good litmus test of how committed the Democratic majority is to working with the other side.”
Senator Grassley: Iowans are watching. “Irk” seems to be a bland word if you cave in to the Democrats on this one.
Grassley no longer represents those who elected him. Washingtonitis.
This event is just one more event in Grassley’s long history of support for expanding the role of the federal government, and usurping the authority of the several States and the People as guaranteed in the 10th amendment. It is time for We the People of Iowa to tell Senator Grassley in the words of Horatio Bunce “you gave a vote… which shows that either you have not capacity to understand the Constitution, or that you are wanting in the honesty and firmness to be guided by it. In either case you are not the man to represent me. ”
As for instructions on healthcare reform, let alone monies for a public healthcare option …
Senator Grassley, THEY ARE NOT YOURS TO GIVE!
Congress is burning through 11 billion dollars a day and will go through 4 trillion by end of the year this is money we did not have, if we printed this much to cover this look out for our dollar to be worth toilet paper soon.
Have you seen that video of Grassley at a town meeting? He tells a voter to get a better job if he wants better health insurance.
He can’t see health insurance worries are distorting the whole economy, even determining whether people can quit jobs they hate.
What is wrong with telling someone to find a better job if they want better benefits and/or pay? Hate the job but love the benefits? Too bad. Make a choice.
This sense of entitlement has got to stop. We are entitled to nothing except for our rights guaranteed in the Constitution. The ones from our Creator.

In his propaganda conference tonight Obama stroked Grassley’s ego. Yuck!
