Once I asked him if he opposes torture, and he said he did, but he hasn't done a thing to show it. He's willing to cover up torture crimes, so I'd say he's OK with torture. What we face now isn't a battle of party but rather principle. I happen to be the State Coordinator for the Tea Party and have heard the same sentiments coming in from across this great state. We want someone who will not compromise when our freedoms are at stake. Since apparently the thousands of constituents that have contacted Sen. Grassley have not reached his ear. however with your standing as a legislator we hope the Sen. will finally have an active ear to the voices of his constituents and the US Constitution. Though as a Tea Party are not specifically backing any candidates however we do encourage more candidates and politicians such as Kent to be willing to take a stand and defy dangerous actions even if they orginate within that politicians own party.
