For what its worth. The Conservative Breakfast Club announcement of the State Chairman was a draft which had not been finalized and was not scheduled to be sent out until late next week and the week following. We were planning on inviiting a legislator as well and had not gotten approval. While we were well aware the SCC was meeting on Saturday we did not know if they would delay action until after the new SCC members are elected in April at the Distirct Caucuses. If the SCC does take action and choose a new chairman we will forward an invitation to whom ever is elected. We feel strongly that we must get behind our State Party under the new leadership regardless of the person and unify for victory this fall.

Same old establishment undercurrent of power to funnell all currents to one river of their choosing. I say we dig a different channel for conservatives away from the establishment of the old Republicans way. We need a change all the way to the top.

Hey Albert, there may not be a rat to smell here, but I assure you Mr Kearney is a team player. So long as that team is the deep-rooted establishment and excludes all others not wholly sworn thereto. I have dealt with him on several occasions and found him to be spineless and shady. The only interest this man serves is his own (and big government GOP establishment). In short, I would not trust anything he puts out at face value and question every single motive he has with deepest scrutiny.

Wow.
Haven’t been here for a while. Apparently not many others have been here either. Even your Ron Paul column drew only one comment. When even the Paulites let you be, you know you are lonely.

I got as far as the claim that Ron Paul’s foreign policy is “overly naive”. I guess that’s to distinguish it from Santorum’s merely stupidly naive statement that he’d start bombing Iran during the inauguration ball.

I figure Santorum’s rise in the polls is due merely to the lack of scrutiny he has received unlike all the others campaigning here.

But actually the reason I came by is to point out the weather forecast for this week–a lot like spring time in the old days before global warming, eh Al? How long can American Republicans go with their heads in the sand, supporting oil wars without end, amen, and arguing against subsidies for such terrible ideas as renewable energy?

Thanks Andy. My rationale on Governor Huntsman and Congressman Paul is that neither one of them has any hope of receiving my vote. Furthermore I decided to put Huntsman dead last in the (however vain it may be) hope that it would send a message that skipping Iowa is not a good idea.
